Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actress for several years. She is well-known for her roles in television and films. She is popular on both Canadian as well as American TV. Emily became interested in the acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie at the film set. When she realized that acting was her passion, Emily began taking acting classes and auditions. She was initially cast in commercials for a few minutes before being offered a role on the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? One scene in which she was not even speaking a word. At the age 15, she got her big break as she was part of the WB series Glory Days. Emily's role in Glory Days, a show on WB, which was canceled nine episodes later, caught the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was also a ballet dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors under the age of twenty. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
