Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast, and is the only person to be given 10/10 points at an Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci at the age of six. Comaneci would go on to become Romania's gymnastics coach. Comaneci competed for the first time in the national junior championships and finished 13th. In the following year, she was crowned champion. At her first international competition in 1972, she won the event having won three golds. In 1975 she was awarded 4 gold and 1 silver at her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. She was the first female ever to successfully perform the backwards double salto after dismounting from an unbalanced parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her path into the entertainment industry began during her teens when she started performing as a figure skater along with her twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol's career began in entertainment in her teens. She started her career as a figure skater performing with her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show named Ice Capades. They featured ice skating shows with theatrical shows.
