Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back while another crawled around in the playpen. I spent 12 hours days, for months, sanding and taking wallpaper off, all while carrying one kid. Ha! The house was starting to look good, but there were still many things that needed to be left. For furnishing the space, it was going to be a huge effort with regards to time and money. Also, I had to do my favourite shopping. In order to stay within the budget, I started going with my boys to estate sales in search of diamonds. The schedule we had for the week that included spending Friday through Saturday at sale houses and garages, buying old and new items. I then spent the remainder of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. The furniture looked like this... and that's the place I discovered my love for restoring. When our house was completed, I was unable to give up! There was an area on the market, where I would sell things. I eventually had lots of pieces, I didn't know what to do and my storage space was a mess. I held open houses at my residence where 1 thousand people would visit during a weekend. they could purchase anything on the first floor. Growing Days was founded in my own home. The business I was running was growing, but my family was also expanding. It was essential to find the right balance for me. I wished to balance being a mother as well as a business owner who was successful. Growing Days was the obvious choice. Nora was born in 2013 to be our fourth baby. I was thrilled with where my company was going, but I wanted some time off. I decided to stop building my old furniture and stay home with the kids. This was precisely what I was looking for at the time. It rang once more after several minutes. Numerous people reached me seeking advice about home improvement or decorating. A majority of them were people who walked into my house in my open houses for furniture. After that, I gradually took on new clients at my own speed. In the end, I had many customers and was operating a business of home renovations. Had you told me my venture would end up being the premise for a DIY Network show, I might have laughed. It's hilarious to look back on it.
